I am envious, yellow

Only conflate... not

I'm gonna get all avuncular all over you. You say that as a gay woman (paraphrasing), Envy doesn't bother you but jealousy makes you all self-destructive.

Hmm. Jealousy is something that gay men do really well. Think of all the opportunities for practice. Three-way, anyone? It's almost a craft for us.

When this gay man feels self-destructive envy seems to work better.

Wait... I feel a shaking... I'm about to testify...

Jealousy is to mothers as envy as to fathers. Best syllogism evah!

I got a mill
-ion of them

All the best ever. Because infinity.

So following my geometry of desire, gay women have mastered envy. It's their plaything. Jealousy becomes annihilation too quickly. It's more of a switch than a dial.

My drag name today is Mother Foucault.

Gay men: because the world needs uncles.

So I can look to you and other gay women for clues on how to survive envy. Wow. Yay! Look to gay men for examples of how to dial down the jealousy. You feel a click when it's off.

Oh... oh... here's another... Envy is an adaptation to hierarchy as Jealousy is an adaptation to community... needs work, but I like work.

Thank you, Anne, for your blog-midwifery... go forth and monetize...
